Support LUA's Gym and Prayer Hall Expansion Project
Alhamdulillah, the construction of LUA's expansion project is underway
By the blessings of Allah, we are starting the construction phase of this project. In 2019, the school received received the official approval by the Fayette County Board Of Adjustment to proceed with our submitted application and updated site plan for the school expansion project.
On April 16th, 2020, the school received the official approval from the Department of Housing, Buildings and Construction to start the construction of our project

Project Details
This expansion project will add a 2-story, 15,598 square-foot addition to create a new prayer hall, a gymnasium, an exercise room, a new multi-purpose room, a walking track, a library/conference room, offices and additional storage. The existing building is a 2-story structure with 11,200 square feet on each floor. The total square footage of LUA will increase from 22,256 square-feet to 37,854 square feet after the completion of this expansion.
First Floor expansion will include a new prayer hall (Musalla). It will also include a basketball court that can be partitioned into smaller playing areas. It can also be used for Volleyball and Soccer/Futsol activities. It will also include an office, 2 new restrooms and gym storage.
Second Floor expansion will include an exercise/workout room, a multi-purpose room with a small kitchenette (second to the multi-purpose room in the school main building), a walking track, a library/conference room, office room, new classroom, 2 new restrooms and additional storage space.
